Opening day at Saratoga, I spotted Stephen Steven Crist and Andy Serling, taking a smoking break from some dreadful handicapping.
Andy, to Stephen’s delight, is demonstrating how Tallulah Bankhead would hold a cigarette.
If Andy or Stephen Steven saw page 19 in today’s program, the Fourth District Dental Society is sponsoring Oral Cancer Screenings next Wednesday, maybe these boys should put their cigarettes down and get to the screening!

Ha! I had a Serling sighting too, sans Tallulah pose.

You sure do hold a grudge, don’t you?
Crist’s been blogging for a whole year. Not a dreadful posting in sight.
So what if the guy smokes? He’s a great writer and really smart when it comes to the horses. Let him have his vice. Or vices. He’s great for the sport and my tickets.

P.S. His name isn’t STEPHEN, it’s STEVEN.

…and another thing…everyone is entitled to Andy’s opinion.

Poor Andy, has the guy ever picked a winner? Anytime he picks a horse on Philly’s Phonebet TV I run in the opposite direction and usually win a few bucks.
As for grudges, I have none. Crist is a great writer but that doesn’t mean he’s above a little ridicule every now and then.
This is just a fan blog, some of you folks take me all too seriously
